Terms of Service

By accessing or using BallonRank, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform.

BallonRank is designed for youth football participants, coaches, scouts, and parents. Users under 16 must have parental or guardian consent to create an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep your profile up to date.

You may not create accounts for the purpose of impersonation or misrepresentation.

When submitting a player profile or match statistics, you agree that:

• All information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• You have the right to submit data on behalf of the player (if submitting for someone else)
• Falsified statistics may result in account suspension and data being marked as disputed
• Published profiles are publicly visible to all platform users

BallonRank composite scores and star ratings are generated algorithmically based on available data. Rankings are informational and do not constitute endorsements, guarantees of ability, or professional assessments.

We reserve the right to adjust scoring methodology and recalculate rankings at any time.

Scouts, coaches, and verifiers with elevated platform privileges must:

• Submit honest, fair evaluations
• Not use the platform to contact minors directly without appropriate safeguards
• Respect the verification process and data confidence framework

By uploading highlight videos or other content, you confirm that you have the right to share this content and grant BallonRank a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.

Content that is offensive, inappropriate, or unrelated to football will be removed.

You may not:

• Submit false or misleading statistics
• Manipulate rankings through fraudulent activity
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform data without permission
• Attempt to access admin or verifier features without authorisation

BallonRank offers paid subscription tiers (Premium Player and Scout) billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never receive card numbers.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You can cancel at any time from the Billing settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
• The Scout tier includes a 14-day free trial for new subscribers; if you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Reach out if you believe you were charged in error.
• We may change pricing with at least 30 days notice. Existing subscribers retain their current price until the next renewal after the change.

You may delete your account at any time from the Privacy & Data settings page. Deletion cancels any active subscription and permanently removes your personal data (subject to legal retention obligations).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
